Texas Wrestling Entertainment was founded by Rudy Boy Gonzalez after his time alongside Shawn Michaels with the Texas Wrestling Alliance and the Shawn Michaels Wrestling Academy. TWE is one of the MAJOR independent promotions in Texas. Stars from all over the world have been featured in TWE shows such as, “The Fallen Angel” Christopher Daniels, Chavo Guerrero, Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat, AJ Styles, Milano Collection AT, Samoa Joe, Mil Muertes, Sinn Bodhi, and numerous others. TWE has also featured young stars such as Paul London and Brian Kendrick who were actually trained by RBG in the Shawn Michaels Wrestling Academy. TWE uses fresh faces developed in the promotion’s school known as the Texas Wrestling Academy where wrestlers such as WWE’s Daniel Bryan and TNA’s Hernandez trained.
